El vanguardista videoclip de "Take Me Out" de la banda Escosesa Franz Ferdinand, fue dirigido por Jonas Odell, se inspiró en dadaísmo, coreografías Busby Berkeley y diseños de constructivistas rusos. Alex Kapranos explica las numerosas y variadas influencias detrás de la promoción del estilo del segundo singles "Take Me Out": "Es de tipo bidimensional en un estilo tridimensional". Se trata de un montaje de imágenes de la banda, y cosas tomadas de otros lugares y ponerlas juntas de manera abstracta. Eso es lo que le da al video un estilo extraño".
